About The Position
The Early Education Teacher is responsible for direct delivery of services designed to meet the physical and developmental needs of the children of the Gila River Indian Community. Work contacts include staff, volunteers, and parents. This position is a full-time regular role within the Tribal Education Department/Head Start Program located in Sacaton, AZ. The teacher will provide care, safety, protection, and supervision of all children in the group at all times, maintain scheduled center activities, and follow lesson plans while documenting accordingly. The role also involves developing and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, participating in staff meetings, and providing information to parents regarding their children and general child development.
