About The Position
PEEPs is hiring teachers for our 1 year old room and for our 3-4 year old preschool class. We are always hiring substitute teachers as well. The PEEPs' teaching staff is a group of women praying for one another, celebrating together, and serving the Lord alongside each other. From 8:15-2:15 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we train kids to love God and each other. Embedded in recess and the alphabet are stories of God's love and grace. PEEPs is much more than a preschool; it is a safe place for kids and staff alike to experience the great love of Christ! Hours: 8:15-2:15 MWF School year PEEPs: September through May Summer PEEPs: June and July Children of PEEPs staff receive free tuition at PEEPs Children of PEEPs staff receive 25% discount at Central Christian School Salary: Hourly
Requirements
- Experience in caring for young children is required.
- There is a mandatory staff training in August, which includes CPR training.
- Proactive and engaged in the classroom environment
- Takes initiative in caregiving/classroom duties
- Models patience consistently, using calm communication and positive guidance to help children develop confidence and self-regulation
- Actively looks for ways to enhance children's experiences through creative play, engaging activities, and meaningful interactions
- Values teamwork and builds strong relationships with coworkers, always looking for ways to share ideas, encourage others, and strengthen our school community
