About The Position

Schechter Boston is looking for an EEC Certified Teacher to join Gan Shelanu, our Early Childhood Program, immediately. The ideal candidate will have experience and a love for working with children. We are looking for someone who can create a nurturing and exciting environment for young learners. Job Duties As a floating teacher you will have the opportunity to work in several different classrooms throughout the school. In addition, you will: Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children Develop activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children Clearly and effectively communicate with children, parents and staff Supervise children at all times Qualifications The ideal candidate must be warm, nurturing and passionate about working with young children EEC certification required, preferably Massachusetts EEC Director I or II certification Bachelor’s Degree and background in education/early childhood education preferred Two years of relevant work experience, preferred Able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds Details Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-3:30PM Salary is $42,000-$75,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Requirements
