Requirements

Experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to meet all state licensing requirements (background check, physical, drug screening etc.)
CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
You are reliable—your team can count on you
You are proactive—you don’t wait to be told what to do
You are professional—in how you speak, show up, and handle stress
You can manage a classroom, not just assist in one
You are coachable and open to feedback without defensiveness
You understand that this work is important—and requires effort

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a structured, well-managed classroom environment
Lead children with calm authority, warmth, and consistency
Implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences (not just “activities to pass time”)
Maintain active supervision and safety awareness at all times
Communicate professionally with families—clear, respectful, and timely
Work as part of a team that holds each other accountable
