About The Position

Help Little Ones Learn and Grow! Do you love working with young children? Want a job where you can make a real difference every day? Chambliss Center for Children is looking for caring and energetic teacher/teacher assistants to join our Tumblers classrooms (ages 14-24 months). This is a great chance to build your career in early childhood education while getting hands-on experience and training! Schedule is Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm or 7am - 4pm

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to pass a fingerprint background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in a classroom is a big plus!

Responsibilities

• Keep children safe and engaged during play, learning, and daily routines.
• Lead fun activities that help kids grow in how they think, move, and get along with others.
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Work closely with other teachers, parents, and volunteers.
• Watch for health needs and help children as needed.

Benefits

• Fair Pay That Grows With You : Start at $11/hour if you only have a high school education and little experience; from $13/hour with a Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate. If you have more education or experience, you can earn up to $16-17/hour
