The ECSE Preschool Teacher serves as the general education teacher for the preschool classroom and the special education service provider for students who qualify for services. This position is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate instruction aligned to state standards and early learning guidelines as well as delivering specialized services in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This role requires the teacher to demonstrate a growth mindset, responsiveness to feedback, and a commitment to ongoing training and development. The Preschool Teacher collaborates with families and colleagues, maintains a safe and inclusive learning environment, and demonstrates compassion and enthusiasm for working with young children with a wide range of abilities and disabilities.
