About The Position

Assists early childhood teachers in performing their classroom teaching responsibilities.

Requirements

• Speak, read and write in English.
• One year of experience working with youth or children.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Associate’s (or higher) degree OR 60 Semester-Hour credits from an accredited institution OR AZ Dept. of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test. Copy of diploma, transcripts or test results must be submitted upon hire
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
• AZ Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR and First Aid Certification (required within 90 days of hire at employee's expense). Certification must be maintained current during course of employment.
• A minimum of six units of formal Early Childhood training classes required OR must be willing to enroll in courses
