About The Position

St. Mark’s Episcopal School in Houston, Texas is seeking energetic and creative team players to serve as an Early Childhood Substitute in our Twos Program. We are looking for nurturing , and student-centered people who enjoy young children and enjoy working with young children.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass the Texas Child Care licensing background screen.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Available 7:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday during the school year.

Nice To Haves

• Childcare and/or teaching experience with children ages 12 to 35 months is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a Twos classroom throughout the school day.
• Supervising students during age-appropriate activities inside the classroom and during outside play.
• Assist with classroom clean up throughout the day.
• Assist with personal care routines of 2 yr olds.
• Assist with snack, meal time, and nap routines.
• Follow all Texas Childcare licensing guidelines.
