Vogel is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Substitute Teacher (On-Call/PRN) to provide direct support to children in our classrooms. In this vital role, you’ll provide classroom coverage on an as-needed basis to support continuity of care and learning during staff absences due to vacation, illness, training, or leave. Your work will be grounded in supporting a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children while working collaboratively with site leadership and teaching teams. By offering encouragement and guidance, you'll help maintain a stable environment, contributing to healthier, school-ready children. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and highly skilled in early childhood development for children from Infants through 5-year-olds. As part of our team, you'll be expected to familiarize yourself with important care models, including trauma-informed care—which guides our approach to supporting families at Vogel. Candidates must be willing to work at both the Vogel Redbird Campus and Vogel Main Campus as needed. Our core mission is centered around providing exceptional care and early childhood education for young children from homeless and domestic abuse shelters, all within our NAEYC accredited child care facility. Our innovative approach works to support both children and their parents through a two-generation strategy, offering resources that set families on a path toward a brighter future.
