About The Position

A warm and intentional family based in Denver (Washington Park area) is seeking a highly educated, professional infant nanny / early childhood specialist to care for their 6-month-old baby . They are looking for a caregiver with a strong academic background in early childhood development who can provide exceptional infant care while intentionally supporting early cognitive, emotional, and sensory development through structured, responsive, and developmentally appropriate engagement. This is a long-term role for a career nanny who is passionate about infant development and committed to becoming a trusted, stable presence in the child’s early years.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree REQUIRED in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Education, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional childcare experience , with strong infant care experience
  • Extensive experience caring for infants under 1 year old in private household settings
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Non-smoker
  • Fully vaccinated including Covid 19 vaccination
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background, reference, and education verification checks

Nice To Haves

  • Montessori training or infant development coursework strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Full daily care of a 6-month-old infant , including feeding, diapering, and daily routines
  • Maintaining and supporting consistent sleep, feeding, and developmental schedules
  • Tracking and supporting developmental milestones (motor, sensory, cognitive, and early communication)
  • Engaging the infant in calm, intentional, age-appropriate developmental play
  • Ensuring a safe, structured, and nurturing environment throughout the day
  • Providing detailed daily updates to parents regarding routines and development
  • Infant laundry, bottle preparation, and sterilization
  • Organizing and maintaining nursery and infant-related spaces
  • Preparing bottles, formula, and/or baby food as needed
  • Tracking feeding, sleep, and developmental logs
  • Apply evidence-based early childhood development practices to daily care
  • Support infant independence through Montessori-inspired principles
  • Encourage sensory exploration, early language exposure, and motor development
  • Foster secure attachment through responsive and emotionally attuned caregiving
  • Maintain consistent routines that promote stability and healthy development
