About The Position
The Early Childhood Special Education Assistant position is available at New Hope Learning Center or other district buildings as determined by program leadership. This role involves assisting in daily classroom preparations, fostering a positive environment for the academic, social, and emotional development of students, and supporting the classroom teacher and special education staff. The position requires seven hours of work per day, which includes 6.5 hours of paid work time and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The hourly wage is $24.03 based on Class 3C of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement for Education Assistants.
