About The Position

ICF seeks an on-call Project Assistant to help support our important work in Child Care and Development TA Projects. The Project Assistant will work with project teams supporting ICF’s work in the field of early childhood education in the federal, state, and private sectors. Individuals at ICF have an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, and interact with experts and clients in the field while building content knowledge and consulting skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will also be able to work independently and apply their knowledge to support completion of high priority tasks requiring quick turnarounds. They must also be able to maintain a consistent work schedule and be available during regular work hours. Key Responsibilities: Support data management tasks such as data mapping, data collection, entry, and analysis, and Data quality checks and testing. Support the development of materials for client-sponsored meetings and conferences. Track progress of deliverables. Perform various support tasks such as assisting with surveys, gathering survey data, and creating graphic representations of survey results. Remediate Web resources for 508 compliance. Track and fix broken URL links on Web resources. Providing technology support for virtual conferences and meetings. Providing note taking for multiple virtual conferences or meetings. Collaborate with project teams to plan, organize, and complete assigned projects within established timelines and protocols. Support the development and implementation of effective communication strategies to share timely information within projects and externally. Support completion of high-priority tasks within tight timelines. Complete information gathering and administrative tasks to support completion of project-required and ad hoc reports. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, public policy, public administration, management, or related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel. SharePoint, Microsoft Teams).
  • 1+ year experience, course work or Interest in child development and early care and education field.
