Early Childhood Program Assistant - Preschool - Long Term Substitute
About The Position
Qualifications/Experience: High School Diploma/GED required. Successful Background Check required. Experience with young children preferred. Ability to lift up 10 lbs on a regular basis with up to 50 pounds on occasion Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: General knowledge of practices, methods and techniques used in early childhood classroom teaching. Ability to work effectively with parents and teachers. Ability to work as part of a team. Passion for working with children. Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty. Specific Tasks: Provide support by assisting with daily teaching and functions of the classroom. Facilitate play with young children. Assist with room set up/clean up, preparing of classroom materials and daily schedule. Other duties as assigned by classroom teacher or Coordinator. Hours Per Day: 7.5 hrs per day Work schedule to be determined: Mon-Fri, or Mon/Wed/Fri, or Tues/Thurs Long term sub assignment from appx 4/18/26 - end of school year 6/4/26 Isanti Location As per Terms and Conditions May become benefit eligible if combined with other positions.
