The Playgroup Facilitator’s primary responsibility is to provide developmentally appropriate, early learning and early literacy rich experiences, including playgroups for young children (ages 0-6). Their role is to enhance and foster positive relationships between parents and their children; and to collaborate with partner agencies such as libraries, public preschools, early intervention, EEC licensed early education and care programs, WIC and food pantries. Responsibilities may also include providing attending relevant trainings community outreach, participating in CFCE team or council meetings, and providing families with resources and information on early learning and development, parenting and on local community resources. Lynn Public Schools CFCE program provides services to families and children in Lynn, Nahant, and Saugus.
