Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and DESE certification as required by contract.

Nice To Haves

• Masters Degree, CCSs, or CFY.
• Experience in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Interventions: Develop individualized programs to address deficits in motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with school personnel and parents to create and implement individualized service plans (ISPs) that align with each student's needs.
• Support Growth: Offer consultation and guidance to teachers, school staff, and parents to support the implementation of therapy goals.
• Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Administer appropriate screening and diagnostic tests to evaluate motor, sensory, and functional skills.
• Report and Document: Interpret assessment results, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and generate comprehensive reports for school personnel and parents.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participate as a key member of the school's multidisciplinary team, contributing to holistic student development.
• Provide Training: Equip school staff with effective occupational therapy strategies to enhance student outcomes.
