If you are interested in working for an innovative agency that values employee growth and development and is committed to making a difference in our community we have an amazing opportunity for a Full-time consultant providing early childhood mental health consultation to early childcare centers as a part of the Whole Child Matters Initiative. Our consultants will provide evidence-based strategies to promote social-emotional development of young children by delivering a coaching model to caregivers (child care teachers and directors, parents) based on the Georgetown Model/Ohio Model of the Consultative Stance in early childhood centers. You will link families to resources to address mental/behavioral health children difficulties may face. Additionally, you will assist early childhood educators in understanding trauma and determining when to make referrals to mental health services. There is data collection required in this role. Some travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Required credential/licensure: RA, OCPSA, LSW, LPC, MFT.

Nice To Haves

  • LISW, LPCC, IMFT.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Early Childhood Mental Health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide early childhood mental health consultation to early childcare centers.
