About The Position

The position involves creating a warm, safe, and caring environment for students to grow, learn, and explore. The educator will supervise and interact with children in a developmentally appropriate manner, implementing a challenging educational curriculum that is tailored to the developmental needs of the students. The role also includes developing lesson plans based on hands-on learning and providing pedagogical support to families. Additionally, the educator will supervise and evaluate assistant teachers, student teachers, substitutes, and volunteers who work in the classrooms, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality for all matters.

Requirements

• BA in Early Childhood/ MS in Education is preferred.
• New York State Certification in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English required.
