About The Position

A Child’s Place at 435 4th St Troy is looking for energetic, kind and compassionate people to join their staff! This location is on a bus line! The position involves working with children aged 6 weeks to 18 months old. As the lead in the classroom, you will work with the Childcare manager in the everyday functioning of the facility. You will assist with all aspects of the needs of the children and overall classroom staff, maintain cleanliness of classrooms, create a warm and nurturing environment for the children in the program, and assist others as needed. MAT certification is required. The role promotes an environment of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements

• AA in Early Childhood Education, CDA or 9 credits in Early Childhood Education with experience working with children in these age groups.
• Must be flexible as program needs change throughout the day.
• Dependable and able to pass a background check.
• MAT certification required.
