The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development and be passionate about creating a positive, engaging, and supportive community for young children and their families. This role involves teaching a variety of courses aimed at children and/or their caregivers, ranging from preschool prep to, art and STEM classes, to movement-based activities in our play space/gym. The candidate will be tasked with helping facilitate sessions that are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with our child-centered approach.

  • Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through adherence to our daily protocols.
  • Lead enrichment classes for children ranging from 6 months to 8 years.
  • Use play-based learning approaches to engage children in exploration, creativity, and problem-solving.
  • Teach our curriculum, differentiating to meet the needs of individual participants.
  • Create a complete experience from the moment our families walk in the door to when they leave by maintaining the highest level of customer service possible.
  • Support parent, family, and children play groups and communities.
  • Model open-mindedness, creativity, empathy, and enthusiasm for learning!
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in early childhood education or related field with New York State Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification in N-6 or B-2 OR be on a NYS Approved Study Plan.
  • 2+ years of experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood teaching practices and development principles.
  • Ability to create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children and their families.
  • Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
