About The Position

My Gym is seeking a young passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Gym Teacher to support our children’s fitness programs AM/PM shifts. In this role, you will assist in overseeing daily operations and help create an engaging environment for children and their families. Your contributions will ensure high-quality fitness instruction while promoting a positive and supportive community. Job Summary: The gym teacher plays a vital role in supporting the Gym Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the My Gym location. You will ensure the highest quality of service for both children and their families while fostering a positive and engaging environment. This leadership position requires a balance of business management, team leadership, and exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a commitment to growing our community of families. Requirements

  • Experience with children: Proven experience working with young children in an organized setting
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Team-Oriented: Strong willingness to collaborate and contribute as a dedicated team player
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with staff, parents, and guests
  • Physical Capability: Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Endurance: Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling job responsibilities

Nice To Haves

  • A background in dance, theater or kinesiology are desired.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the center, including staff training and effective communication with parents
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost enrollment and retain current families
