About The Position
Christ Community Lutheran School in St. Louis, Missouri, has openings for both Regular Subs and Occasional Subs in our Early Childhood Education program. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a variety of settings, such as babysitting, nannying, nursery care, childcare centers, and/or preschool. Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Joy for working with children
- Alignment with CCLS mission and statement of faith
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teacher in implementing planned activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and other basic care needs
- Collaborate with ECE staff as part of a positive and supportive team environment
- This position involves standing for extended periods of time and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
