About The Position

We are seeking an Early Childhood Education/Disabilities Specialist (ECE/DS) to join our team in Columbia, SC Regional office. Who are we? We are a nonprofit Head Start organization that was established in 1974. We serve migrant and seasonal farmworker children and families by providing high-quality early childhood education in a safe and nurturing environment. We have 50 campuses across 10 states, and we serve nearly 3,000 children each year. As the ECE/DS, you will Provide on-going direction, support, training, and technical assistance for Direct Service Centers in the design, development and implementation of quality early childhood education services for migrant children and families. Requirements

Preferred: Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of 18 credit hours in Early Childhood Education. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education. Head Start experience preferred.
Accepted: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of 18 credit hours in Early Childhood Education. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education. Head Start experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred
Frequent travel in rural areas in/out of state (3-4 times per week) and some overnights.
