About The Position

St. Edward School, a Catholic elementary school committed to nurturing the spiritual, academic, and personal development of its students, is seeking a compassionate and responsible Early Childhood Classroom Aide. We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Part-Time Kindergarten Classroom Aide to support our classroom teachers and help create a positive, nurturing learning environment for our youngest students. The ideal candidate enjoys working with early elementary-aged children and brings patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students learn and grow.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow directions, work collaboratively, and support a positive school culture
Reliability, patience, and a genuine interest in working with young children

Nice To Haves

Experience working with early elementary children (Kindergarten-2nd grade) preferred
Training in CPR and first aid preferred

Responsibilities

Assist the classroom teacher with daily activities, lessons, and routines
Support small-group instruction and one-on-one work with students as directed
Help supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and playtime
Prepare, organize, and clean up classroom materials
Reinforce classroom expectations and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment
Provide general support to teachers and staff as needed
