Renton Technical College welcomes individuals who have a commitment to teach and the ability to adapt instructional methods to a wide range of student backgrounds. This Part-time teaching position is responsible for teaching, modifying, and updating a curriculum which includes courses required for the initial certificate in Spanish in early childhood development, developmentally appropriate learning activities, health, safety, nutrition, laws related to licensing of childcare sites, care of children with special needs, and anti-bias/culturally relevant issues. The initial certificate courses are: ESED&105 Introduction to Early Childhood Education (5 credits), ECED&107 Health, Safety, Nutrition (5 credits), ECED&120 Practicum-Nurturing Relationships.
