We care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, serving Logan Health employees on a space-available basis. Our environment encourages exploration, self-sufficiency, curiosity, and early developmental milestones that set the foundation for lifelong learning. What You’ll Be Doing As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting children during some of their most important developmental years.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Genuine love for working with young children

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred
  • Completion of Montana state-required early childhood training within 6 months of hire
  • Completion of STARS Assistant Teacher training within 12 months
  • CPR/AED certified or able to obtain within 30 days (training provided)

Responsibilities

  • Guide children through play, routines, and learning experiences

  • Model and support positive habits around nutrition, exercise, and safety
  • Be a Collaborative Team Member
  • Partner with teachers and staff to plan activities and support classrooms
  • Mentor new staff and contribute to a positive workplace environment
  • Administrative Support
  • Assist with documentation, attendance tracking, and daily reports
