About The Position

The Learning Experience – Beltline is seeking a dependable and caring Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to support our classrooms and help create a positive, engaging learning environment for young children. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to grow within a supportive early childhood education setting.

Our center offers a structured, play-based program where teamwork, consistency, and strong relationships with families are valued.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing and background requirements
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred
• Early childhood coursework or degree a plus

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment
• Assist with hands-on learning experiences aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
• Encourage positive behavior and support children’s social and emotional development
• Share daily updates with families regarding activities and routines
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and follow all health and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to meet licensing and school standards
