Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience with children in a daycare, preschool, camp, or similar setting preferred
• Interest in early childhood education (ECE coursework a plus)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and transitions
• Support children through play, learning centers, and structured routines
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
• Participate in snack/mealtime, diapering or toileting, and rest periods as needed
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Follow center procedures and New York childcare licensing requirements
