Early Careers - Data Platform Program (NL)
About The Position
About this role Our Data and ML Early Careers Program is specifically designed to develop you across an 18 month period of learning, growth and delivery within our Data and ML Platforms department at Just Eat Takeaway.com. You will be part of the team building the platform foundation to scale JET’s AI usage with governed real time data products. We’re an engineering focused team and our vision is to abstract from platform users the complexity of building and managing data products and their infrastructure. We manage platform capabilities as products with well defined user journeys and roadmaps. Upon joining the Program you will undertake rotations across teams within data and ML platform capabilities which will help to layer your learning of the business and technical competency of large scale data and ML operations. Location: Hybrid role - 3 days a week from the Amsterdam office and 2 days working from home These are some of the key components to the position: Next to sharpening your analytical, problem solving and technical skills you will be able to get hands on knowledge on a few of the following areas: Message streaming infrastructure and and stream processing framework Data Governance framework automation and management High throughput Customer Behaviour telemetry framework Machine learning model creation, training and operations Large scale, low latency and secure data storage and consumption. Complex data pipelines management and orchestration.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Programming Languages and Cloud ( AWS )
- You may have a related degree or bootcamp qualifications/experience although this is not necessary
- A good problem solver with a humble & inquisitive approach
- An analytical thinker
- Ability to adapt and work in a truly international and dynamic business
- A proactive attitude
- Unrestricted right to work in the Netherlands
- We can only consider candidates who hold a valid work permit in the Netherlands including EU right to work.
- It will be essential to verify that the visa is valid at the start date of the role
