About The Position
The Corporate Risk and Broking Internship in Risk & Analytics Core at WTW is a unique opportunity designed for university-level students who are primarily one year away from achieving their bachelor's degree. This 8-week summer internship program serves as a primary pipeline into WTW's full-time Graduate Development Program (GDP). Interns will gain a comprehensive understanding of the evolving risk landscape while working alongside world-class clients and colleagues in the insurance industry. The program is structured to provide hands-on experience, allowing interns to contribute to client-facing projects that span from Fortune 500 accounts to small local businesses. Interns will be aligned with a specialized business area, which will help them build a technical foundation of knowledge and gain exposure to clients through meaningful work assignments and projects. The internship program fosters a collaborative community, encouraging interns to engage in various projects, speaker series, structured training, case studies, and networking events. Key components of the program include a structured orientation, goal setting, mentorship, inclusion and diversity initiatives, group presentations, and a formal performance review process. The Core Analytics team, which the interns will be part of, focuses on delivering proprietary risk models that enhance the client experience and facilitate effective risk management. Interns will work closely with colleagues at all levels, gaining insights into client accounts and supporting the development and implementation of new strategies and products. They will also have the opportunity to learn and demonstrate WTW's analytic models, develop both soft and hard skills through professional development training, and present their job duties and responsibilities to various organizational roles.
