About The Position

Our Nuclear Programs is a Tier 1 service provider to the U.S. Department of Energy as well as commercial nuclear companies; we deliver safe and innovative solutions at complex nuclear cleanup, production and power generation sites. Our services include engineering, construction management, consulting, program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, and nuclear operations. We’re looking for an Early Career Structural Engineer to participate in the design process, assisting in developing design calculations, design drawings, and construction specifications for structures made of steel, concrete, and masonry. Your work will be supporting the Oak Ridge, TN office. You will be able to participate and focus on new design challenges, expanding career skills while supporting the development of life changing infrastructure that improves communities all over the United States. Requirements

Sole US citizenship required (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)
B.S. in Structural/Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school
0-3+ years of post-education experience
Engineering in Training (EIT) certificate obtained or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
Ability to follow and implement established quality procedures and ensure that all work accomplished is procedurally compliant
Ability to learn new software as necessary for project success
Competence using Microsoft Office software
Reside within a commutable distance from our Oak Ridge, TN office
