Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 0 years of related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures and concepts in a particular field.
  • May require specific nuclear reactor plant maintenance qualification training and certification.
  • Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs, as required for specific roles.
  • Basic communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, convey detailed technical data and work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at plant sites; may include equipment associated with refueling, inspecting and maintaining nuclear reactors and components.
  • Conducts routine field tasks, operates specialized equipment, takes measurements, extracts and compiles data regarding equipment and process performance.
  • Develops calculations, tables, reports, and other related data, as needed.
  • Maintains maintenance logs and certification documentation.
  • May assist with the development of procedures required to perform equipment maintenance and operation.
  • Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.
  • Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service.
  • May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites.
  • May/Will require unescorted nuclear site access.
  • Technical certifications to be acquired: FME200.5 IB-A FME Program Training; HPF100A.10 Human Performance Fundamentals; HMT126X.4 Hazardous Materials Training on AFMT; DOT100.3 Department of Transportation Hazmat(AFMT); FME201.1 FME Refurbishment Training; Initial Read & Affirm documents assigned in Portfolio; Generic NANTeL.

Benefits

  • Salary: $46,000 - $60,000 per year, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
