This Opportunity WSP is seeking a full-time Early Career Environmental Engineer for its Creve Coeur, Missouri office. The successful candidate will contribute to the Site Investigation & Remediation (SIR) Team and support the company's continued growth while meeting client objectives and addressing their environmental challenges. WSP’s Creve Coeur SIR team provides a broad range of services in engineering and environmental sciences including environmental assessments, site investigation and remediation, environmental compliance, soil, groundwater, and air quality investigations and monitoring, EHS compliance and management system audits, geotechnical investigations, regulated materials surveys, and due diligence assessments. Your Impact Under general supervision, provide field support on a wide variety of environmental projects including site assessment, remediation, compliance programs, Phase I environmental site assessments, and sampling/monitoring. Conduct subsurface investigations which include drilling, geologic/geotechnical logging, and environmental media sampling. Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements. Perform engineering calculations, cost estimates, data validation, and report preparation. Prepare reports, including documentation field investigative procedures, data management and interpretation, development of graphical and tabular presentation of data, and Phase I environmental site assessments. Assist with verifying the characteristics of a site, providing entry-level technical assistance on various environmental issues. Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and field/work site notebook. Work closely with WSP project managers to meet client expectations with regards to defined project objectives, schedule, budget, change management, problem solving, and project deliverables. Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Office products and strong technical writing and data analysis skills. Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures which include but are not limited to, the maintenance of sample collection, location data, statistical documentation, and logbooks. Complete training on assigned tasks. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
