About The Position

The EAP Counselor - Senior at Froedtert Health is responsible for providing confidential assessment, crisis intervention, and both short and long-term counseling services to staff. This role also includes documentation of services provided and may involve additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a mental health professional.
• Experience providing mental health counseling and/or employee assistance.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Licensed by the State of Wisconsin in Professional Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or as a Psychologist.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of and experience in addiction disorders, mental health, wellness, and work issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, both orally and in writing.
• Advanced knowledge of statutes, rules, and regulations relating to mental health and EAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide confidential assessment and crisis intervention for Froedtert Health staff.
• Deliver short and long-term counseling services to employees and their families.
• Document counseling services and interventions accurately.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
