This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office with work performed at client site in Washington, DC; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word) . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. . Experience with the Eagle Investment Accounting solution o Ability to collaborate with business users to gather requirements and ensure that newly developed and existing financial reports align with organizational objectives. o Ability to analyze and extract financial data from various sources (Bank, Email, etc.) for report generation. o Develop automated reporting solutions to streamline financial reporting processes. o Ensure reports comply with accounting standards and client corporate policies. o Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize financial reporting systems for improved performance and accuracy. o Provide training and support to end-users on report usage and interpretation. o Manage, update, and maintain the report specification documents to verify they are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with business requirements. Verify they contain current report designs, business logic, and data sources. o Identify, log, and track bugs or issues discovered through unit testing ensuring proper resolution before Production deployment. . Develop Advanced reports written with ActiveReports 3rdparty: o Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze report requirements to ensure business needs are met. o Strong SQL skills for querying databases, as well as experience integrating reports with various data sources. o Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with report generation and performance. o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. . Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and the ability to design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET frameworks. o Ability to write code adhering to best practices and coding standards. o Ability to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. o Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. o U Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. o Ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and stakeholders. o Experience working in a DevOps environment with continuous integration/continuous delivery practices. . Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA) tasks using Toad: o Ability to use Toad for Oracle to design, develop and optimize complex SQL queries and database procedures. o Develop and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, etc. o Collaborate with business users to understand business needs and translate them into database solutions. o Utilize Toad to extract and load data for reporting and analysis. o Troubleshoot and resolve business issues with databases, queries, and code. o Document database processes, query logic, and system configurations for future reference and potential audits.
