About The Position

Stellar Solutions is seeking an E2 SEIT Engineer to support the SN SE&I program through the creation, integration, and application of interdisciplinary digital models across the product lifecycle. This role supports complex systems engineering and integration efforts for mission-critical government systems and requires both hands-on model-based systems engineering capability and the ability to contribute across broader technical planning and review activities. The position offers an opportunity to shape technical products, architecture, and engineering rigor in a collaborative mission environment. This role supports digital engineering and systems engineering integration activities across concept development, technical baselines, and lifecycle execution. The E2 SEIT Engineer will help translate mission needs into rigorous engineering products while collaborating with multifunctional teams and stakeholders across the program.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with large-scale missions and systems engineering and integration
  • 4+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems
  • 3+ years of experience with practical MBSE for development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture
  • Experience using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody
  • Experience leading dispersed multifunctional technical teams
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, FFRDCs, and partner teammates to achieve program goals
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field
  • Active Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with model-based verification and validation
  • Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter
  • Experience analyzing and translating system requirements into design
  • Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language and DoD Architecture Framework
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement recommended solutions
  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional Certification
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering certification
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is desired

Responsibilities

  • Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models from concept through the product lifecycle
  • Develop systems engineering products in support of DoD or government systems
  • Produce technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture artifacts using MBSE approaches
  • Use digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody to support engineering development
  • Perform systems engineering analysis to inform design, integration, and technical decision-making
  • Support design reviews and requirements verification activities across the program
  • Lead or contribute to dispersed multifunctional technical teams in support of engineering execution
  • Collaborate with government clients, FFRDCs, and partner teams to achieve program objectives
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems with limited direction
  • Mentor team members and contribute to strong engineering practices across the effort
