About The Position

The eSports Manager at Blinn College will be responsible for establishing and developing a competitive eSports program that is recognized regionally. This role encompasses a variety of administrative and coaching duties aimed at fostering a successful environment for student-athletes involved in eSports.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching or managing eSports teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of students and staff.

• Experience in competitive gaming or eSports management.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management in a sports context.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement a regionally recognized eSports program.
• Administer all aspects of the eSports program including recruiting and scheduling contests.
• Design practice plans and conduct regular practices.
• Prepare teams for competition and maintain uniforms and equipment.
• Manage the program's budget and supervise assistants, including part-time, volunteer, or student staff.
