About The Position

BMW of Birmingham, a Sonic Automotive Dealership, is seeking an eSales Agent to engage with customers interested in purchasing new and/or pre-owned vehicles. The eSales Agent's primary responsibility is to generate sales appointments and drive customers to the dealership by handling internet inquiries and phone calls. This position requires delivering a premium customer experience by responding to inquiries promptly, professionally, accurately, and courteously. The agent will utilize lead management tools and CRM software to manage initial guest engagement and will receive continuous training in customer service, sales tactics, and relationship development.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year call center or sales focused experience
• Able to set priorities, multi-task, and achieve goals
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work on a team
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly proficient in verbal phone skills
• Ability to establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be adaptable to change
• Proficient using a computer
• Evening and weekend schedule availability required

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound phone calls, internet inquiries, and chats
• Provide guests with timely, relevant responses to address customer questions and needs
• Facilitate providing guests price and purchasing information
• Provide payment options and quotes
• Generate sales and acquisition appointments
• Manage organizers to stay up to date with follow up of all active guests
• Adhere to specific outreach cadence required for new inquiries
• Maintain a thorough understanding of KPIs
