About This Internship Arch's internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides challenging learning experiences that serve as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in learning activities and receive ongoing feedback. About This Role Gain hands-on experience in insuring entertainment-related risks, including property inland marine and casualty exposures. Assist underwriters in collecting and analyzing necessary data for risk assessment. Learn how to compile and evaluate loss history data and details of prior losses. Support the assessment of risk for film productions and live events, including but not limited to films made for theatrical release, television series, television commercials, artist performance, concerts and Broadway productions. Coordinate with risk engineers to identify hazards and provide safety information to underwriters, including event safety plans. Engage in real-world underwriting tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.

Requirements

  • Actively completing area of study in Risk Management and Insurance, Engineering, or related program.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • College level - current Junior, or Senior student, with graduation dates ranging from May 2026 - December 2027.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability and desire to attend networking and client facing events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
  • Team player who collaborates effectively.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
