About The Position

The E-Filing Specialist is responsible for the review, submission, and management of electronic court filings across multiple jurisdictions, including New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland. This role ensures strict compliance with court rules, filing deadlines, formatting standards, and jurisdiction-specific requirements. The Specialist maintains organized records of filings and confirmations, supports legal teams by managing end-to-end e-filing workflows, monitors filing statuses, and promptly resolves submission errors or rejections.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 legal experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in real estate, foreclosures, and bankruptcy strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CaseAware or some other client case management system preferred
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to communicate with attorneys, staff and clients.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Must be very computer savvy to work in multiple servicer systems.
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CaseAware or some other client case management system preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in real estate, foreclosures, and bankruptcy strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of New Jersey Judiciary Account Charge System (JACS) and File & ServeXpress is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Review, and submit electronic court filings accurately and within required deadlines
  • Ensure full compliance with court rules, procedural requirements, and jurisdictional standards
  • Track filing confirmations, monitor submission statuses, and resolve rejected or deficient filings
  • Maintain organized documentation and proof of filing for all submissions
  • Provide additional filing-related and administrative support as reasonably requested in connection with e-filing operations
  • Complete all required Caseaware and BKFS steps in a timely and accurate manner
  • Knowledge of New Jersey Judiciary Account Charge System (JACS) and File & ServeXpress is a plus but not required
  • Other Tasks and Duties as Assigned
