About The Position

Glenmede’s Center for Family Philanthropy and Wealth Education (“CFPWE”) guides families of significant wealth on their journey to purpose and impact and strives to prepare new generations of wealth holders to steward that wealth. The CFPWE partners with clients’ core relationship teams to deliver tailored philanthropic advisory and administration services, coupled with holistic wealth education as key components of Glenmede’s unique approach to Goals-Based Wealth Management. Glenmede’s Endowment & Foundation (E&F) team provides outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) and administrative services to institutional clients including nonprofits, foundations, and charitable trusts. E&F portfolio managers partner with CFPWE advisors to manage family foundations and other philanthropic vehicles. The primary function of the Co-op is to support a team of relationship managers in the administration of investment accounts belonging to nonprofit institutions, foundations, and charitable trusts.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing undergraduate degree
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Motivated, organized self-starter
  • Attention to detail, particularly with respect to financial figures and written materials
  • A team orientation with a willingness to learn
  • Full understanding of client privacy and confidentiality
  • Interest in investments, philanthropy, and/or nonprofit organizations
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to investment and CRM-oriented IT applications

Responsibilities

  • Support advisors in maintenance and administration of client accounts
  • Process and document transactions in client accounts
  • Research emerging trends in the philanthropic sector
  • Contribute to the development of topical educational and marketing content
  • Actively participate in internal team meetings
  • Assist in preparation of presentation materials for client meetings
  • Respond to client requests or proactively identify potential issues in the normal course of business, undertake research or take needed action to resolve (with guidance from senior officers where appropriate) and keep all relevant parties informed
  • Participate in systems enhancement projects and associated data migration efforts
