Join CrowdStrike's CSIRT eDiscovery team as an eDiscovery Operations Analyst. This role supports the team's mission by handling time-sensitive legal data collection requests across multiple platforms, and contributing to data governance and security process improvements. This is a junior to mid-level position where you'll work alongside senior team members to strengthen CrowdStrike's eDiscovery capabilities while developing your technical skills within a security-focused company.

  • Perform remote eDiscovery data collections with occasional travel for onsite imaging projects.
  • Design and implement defensible collection strategies across various data sources.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a data catalog and evidence management system.
  • Research and evaluate emerging eDiscovery technologies and methodologies.
  • Maintain strict data hygiene and chain of custody protocols for all evidence.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities within eDiscovery workflows.
  • Develop and optimize alerting mechanisms for eDiscovery operations.
  • Create comprehensive documentation and standardized operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with legal and IT teams on complex data preservation matters.
  • 1-3 years of experience in eDiscovery, data governance or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of EDRM framework and eDiscovery lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience collecting data from enterprise platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Slack, Box).
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects.
  • Experience with forensic acquisition/imaging tools (e.g. Cellebrite, FTK, EnCase).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience with cloud-based eDiscovery platforms (e.g. RelOne).
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.
  • Background in cybersecurity or digital forensics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Forensics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
