About The Position

The eDiscovery Analyst at Deloitte plays a crucial role in assisting clients with their electronic discovery needs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices throughout the discovery lifecycle. This position involves coordinating technical aspects of eDiscovery projects, providing expert consultation, and managing project plans related to data collection, processing, and document production. The role is integral to helping clients navigate complex data management challenges in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including relevant technologies and legal requirements.
  • Seven+ years of working experience in the eDiscovery industry.
  • Four+ years of direct operational experience using technologies such as Relativity, RelativityOne, Nuix, Everlaw.
  • Three+ years of experience working for a top 50 consulting firm, government contractor, or law firm, or in government at the federal or state level.
  • Experience in a managerial position overseeing project teams.

  • Project management credentials such as PMP, SAFe, CSM, or ICP.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical aspects of electronic discovery requirements and assist with strategic and legal aspects for assigned projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the discovery lifecycle, providing expert consultation and advice on technology and best practices.
  • Consult with case teams to develop and apply technical strategies, requirements, and goals.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including data collection, processing, document production, and appeal support.
  • Ensure standard procedures for electronic discovery and litigation support projects are consistently applied throughout the life of the case.
  • Provide hands-on technical support, ensuring compliance with applicable ESI specifications and addressing deficiencies when found.
  • Perform quality control of deliverables and productions presented to the client.
