About The Position

The E-Commerce Sales Rep will be responsible for driving e-commerce sales for a Houston-based company specializing in pipes, valves, and fittings. This role involves significant travel across the U.S. to engage with customers, promote the e-commerce platform, and ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of the online purchasing system.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial sales environment
  • Proven experience working with e-commerce platforms
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Work with e-commerce team to identify and pursue targeted lists of customers
  • Coordinate with various teams to organize customer visits
  • Sell customers on the benefits of using the e-commerce platform for purchases
  • Guide customers through the registration process to their first order
  • Meet sales targets through new customer acquisition and increased platform usage
  • Maintain ongoing communication and follow-up communications (phone & email)
  • Provide in-person training to ensure customers adopt and use the platform
  • Report to sales team and provide support to national sales team
