About The Position

The Automotive Internet Sales Associate is responsible for building rapport with customers to determine their vehicle needs and demonstrating both new and used vehicles in a professional manner. This role involves managing effective customer test drives, providing comprehensive product knowledge, and completing quotes while explaining finance options. The associate will assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and actively listening to their responses, overcoming objections, and thriving in sales situations. Consultative selling skills are essential, as is the ability to handle all internet sales inquiries personally, whether by phone, email, or in person. Maintaining an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business and coordinating internet promotions with other dealership sales efforts are also key responsibilities. Following up with customers to maintain high satisfaction levels and representing the dealership to contribute to its success are critical aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in relevant fields such as sales, customer service, or call centers.
  • 1 year of internet sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft and Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean California driver's license and sales license.
