The E-Commerce Project Manager will oversee the delivery of new consumer-facing functionalities for the J.Crew Group brand websites, including J.Crew, Factory.Jcrew.Com, and Madewell. This role involves managing day-to-day scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient project delivery. The Project Manager will also receive mentorship from senior team members and is expected to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

  • Drive the building and implementation of enhanced web experiences for J.Crew Group websites.
  • Lead daily stand-ups and assist in impediment removal.
  • Work closely with Product partners for backlog refinement activities and sprint planning.
  • Flex between Scrum master duties and Agile methodologies, and pivot to traditional waterfall delivery as needed.
  • Support the front-end and back-end Code Release process by collaborating with Tech Operations.
  • Partner with QA, Engineering, DevOps, and PMO to improve workflows and processes for a streamlined CI/CD process.
  • Act as support for site issue resolution in production and lower environments.
  • Enable the creation and application of A/B tests for new site experiences and evaluate test results.
  • Partner with vendors to introduce new integrations and functionalities.
  • Support the engineering team by creating temporary website features and applying bug fixes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure all work is tracked in JIRA and collaborate via multiple software tools.
  • Manage budget for the team including quarterly CEA submissions, accruals, forecasts, and invoice review.
  • BA/BS degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • 3-5 years of relevant eCommerce experience
  • Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • BA/BS in Computer Science backgrounds preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Experience with software workflow tools like JIRA/Confluence and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams
