About The Position

Bob's Watches, a leading online retailer specializing in luxury timepieces, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ecommerce Merchandiser to join our Ecommerce team in Newport Beach. The Ecommerce Merchandiser will play a critical role in optimizing the presentation and performance of our product listings on our website, ensuring an exceptional online shopping experience for our customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in ecommerce, merchandising, or a related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using ecommerce platforms and content management systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Passion for luxury watches and a strong understanding of the luxury retail market is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Ecommerce team to plan and execute the online merchandising strategy for our product catalog.
  • Create and maintain product listings on the website, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Monitor and update product availability, ensuring that all out-of-stock items are promptly removed from the website.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop product copy and images that enhance product listings and provide accurate information to customers.
  • Ensure product listings adhere to SEO best practices to maximize search engine visibility.
  • Regularly analyze sales and product performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinate with the operations team to ensure stock levels meet demand.
  • Monitor product lifecycles and recommend clearance strategies for slow-moving or discontinued items.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to understand market trends and pricing strategies.
  • Use insights to recommend pricing adjustments and product positioning.
  • Continuously improve the online shopping experience by ensuring a user-friendly interface, easy navigation, and clear product information.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve product-related issues promptly and professionally.
