About The Position

Reporting to the E-commerce Manager, the incumbent is responsible for hands on operations in the production and warehouse center. Ensures all specifications are produced in the most cost effective manner within our quality control standards. Must be a team player. Must maintain adherence to all sanitation standards and procedures as dictated by local, state and federal authorities and as monitored by the Director of E-commerce and Quality Assurance Department

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Must be able to tolerate cold temperatures for long periods of time.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changes in a very fast paced environment
The ability to be self-directed and maintain excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and accept additional responsibilities as needed.
Exceptional reliability.
Must have a good sense of balance, be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe. Must be able to frequently lift and carry food, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Performs warehouse operations such as loading/unloading, stacking, handling product, and palletizing
"Fulfills" all order requests from request slips and fills orders to be sent out for distribution.
Stocks warehouse shelves with perishable goods
Ensure that product rotates out using the "First In, First Out" rule
Assists Warehouse Supervisor with paperwork on an as needed basis.
Consistently maintain product quality and integrity.
Ensures adherence to procedures, including GMP requirements, food safety, and plant personnel safety.
Ensures products are produced according to specifications
Performs quality control checks to insure standards are met.
Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company standards, communicating inferior products or procedures.
Reliable; able to work in a team oriented environment
Follows all HACCP, safety and sanitation process controls.
Picks, packs, and ships products
Assembles boxes and packaging
