About The Position

The E-Commerce Digital Engagement Associate will provide hands-on support to the e-commerce team by maintaining accurate product data, optimizing online search and navigation experiences, and assisting with digital engagement initiatives. This entry-level position focuses on ensuring the integrity and performance of product content, attributes, and metadata — all of which directly influence site usability, discoverability, and conversion. The role also assists with A/B testing and other data-driven projects that support continuous improvement of the customer experience. As Singer Equipment’s e-commerce platform continues to grow, maintaining structured, accurate, and optimized product data has become critical to improving the customer journey and supporting sales objectives. Currently, tasks related to data enrichment, product categorization, search optimization, and site engagement are distributed across multiple team members, which limits efficiency and consistency. By adding an E-Commerce Digital Engagement Associate, Singer will: Enhancing the accuracy and structure of product data to improve search performance. Strengthening day-to-day digital operations and customer navigation experiences. Supporting data-driven decision-making through A/B testing and engagement tracking. Building a foundation for scalable growth in online merchandising and personalization. Strategic Impact: Improved product discoverability, better customer navigation, and stronger conversion outcomes through consistent digital operations support.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0–2 years of experience in e-commerce operations, data entry, merchandising, or digital content management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with product information systems (PIM) or content management systems (CMS).
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, metadata management, and site navigation logic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with structured data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in analytics, A/B testing, and continuous improvement of the online shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update product attributes, specifications, and metadata within e-commerce systems.
  • Ensure accurate categorization, tagging, and assignment of products to relevant facets and filters to improve product discoverability.
  • Assist with boost/bury logic to support promotional priorities, new product launches, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Support implementation of URL redirects to maintain search integrity and prevent broken links during catalog updates.
  • Monitor site content for accuracy, ensuring data consistency across product pages and search results.
  • Assist with A/B testing initiatives, helping set up variations, track performance metrics, and report findings to guide optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Marketing, Category Management) to ensure product and engagement data aligns with business objectives.
  • Generate regular reports on site engagement, search performance, and user interaction trends.
  • Help document and maintain best practices for data governance and enrichment processes.
