About The Position

The E-Commerce Clerk at Pick N Save in Pewaukee, WI, is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders with a focus on efficiency, freshness, and quality. This role involves assembling customers' orders, processing payments and coupons, and delivering the orders to customers' vehicles upon their arrival at the store for pickup. The E-Commerce Clerk is expected to provide a positive customer service experience that encourages customers to return for online shopping. The position requires adherence to the company's core values, including respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. As part of the Online Grocery Pick-Up team, the E-Commerce Clerk will initiate and complete the selection process for customers' orders, ensuring that all items meet quality standards. The role includes scanning and bagging orders while following established bagging standards. Communication with customers is key, as the clerk will need to inform them of any substitutions or exceptions to their orders at the time of pickup. The clerk must also meet or exceed customer expectations regarding ease of shopping, product variety, freshness, and cleanliness. In addition to order selection, the E-Commerce Clerk will be responsible for receiving orders from the Order Selector, storing products in optimal temperature zones, and ensuring order accuracy. The clerk will utilize a portable phone to communicate with customers and respond to inquiries in a professional manner. Maintaining organization and cleanliness in staging areas and equipment is essential, as is reporting any discrepancies in pricing, scanning, or item locations to the store's e-Commerce supervisor. The clerk will also perform required opening and closing procedures, assist in training new team members, and adapt to new processes as needed. Productivity standards must be met or exceeded, and the clerk must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
