Job Summary:The Click & Collect Clerk is responsible for fulfilling grocery orders placed online and delivered to the customers when they arrive at the store. The Click & Collect Clerk is instrumental in providing a positive shopping experience for all customers. The Click & Collect Clerk will support other customer service deliverables across other departments. Essential Functions of the Position: Shop and stage orders for the customers who have placed an order online. Deliver orders to the customer when they arrive at the store for their pickup. Review orders from the app when it alerts that an order has been placed. Locate and carefully select the correct items from the order list. Communicate with customers when items are unavailable. Check expiration date, quality, and condition of all items, when selecting. Go through checkout when shopping is completed, to complete transactions. Assist with returning all products to shelves that customers have moved or returned before purchase, often called “go-backs.” Assist in maintaining inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality, and turnover for maximum sales and to minimize out-of-stock or overstock products. Provide friendly and helpful customer service at all times.
